Category 5: All Other Invited Delegates

REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE 31 AUGUST 2026

This category includes:
1. University faculty employed at a South African university, who are NOT currently (in 2026) supervising/co-supervising SARAO-funded students and/or postdoctoral fellows; and
2. Delegates from the eight SKA Africa partner countries; and
3. Delegates from affiliated organisations, including NRF, SKAO, SAAO, EMSS, DARA, OAD and Breakthrough Listen.

Category 5 delegates are responsible for arranging and paying for ALL costs associated with their attendance at the conference. This includes:

– Flights to/from/within South Africa;
– Airport transfers/car hire/other local transportation;
– Accommodation on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis; and
– Conference registration fee (which is inclusive of attendance at all sessions, tea-time refreshments, lunches and refreshments at registration and the poster sessions)
